Role
Who you are
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion in mid-market or B2B sales
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience with Salesforce (or CRM) preferred; accountability and demonstrated ability to effectively manage and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to inform decisions
- Polished, detail-oriented professional with a humble and collaborative attitude
- Enthusiasm for sustainability, food waste reduction, and environmental issues
- Experience with value-based selling and/or MEDDICC methodology (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales or a related field (preferred)
What the job involves
- As a KA Team Lead - Midmarket Sales, you will manage a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) in addition to a Business Development Executive
- Your market knowledge, network and managerial experience will play a major role in the growth of Too Good To Go US
- Your focus will be to lead the US Key Account Midmarket team to identify, develop and launch partnerships with mid-sized businesses (20-50 locations)
- It is up to you to develop a high-performing team that focuses on driving New Supplying Stores (NSS) to save food with Too Good To Go
- You are ultimately responsible for the pipeline, forecast and overall results of the midmarket team for KA in the US
- You help the team make the right choices through effective coaching and management. You also focus on the market to identify new potential key account opportunities and create a strong action plan with the team
- Critically, you will know what is going on with partners so you can play a role in defining and optimizing processes
- In addition, you present and speak easily in large groups and you function as a proud ambassador of our mission to partners
- As a KA Team Lead, you report directly to the Head of Key Accounts (US) and contribute to the strategy driving our market penetration

Our take
With more than one-third of food wasted in shops and restaurants, tonnes of otherwise quality goods are unnecessarily lost. Too Good To Go connects customers to restaurants and stores that have unsold, surplus food, offering steep discounts. Through this, businesses can sell surplus meals that would've otherwise gone to waste, and the environment wins as no food is wasted.
The company has certainly found its niche with sustainability-conscious consumers (a group that is growing in size as environmentally-focused consumers get more spending power). Too Good To Go's app has over 90M users across 18 countries and 215,000+ partners including retailers, hotels and restaurants such as ALDI, Carrefour, Accor and YO! Sushi.
The company is also creating a food waste movement website intended to be an informative source of knowledge regarding the issue. This is part of a wider strategy at raising awareness of the food waste problem, to get more users on board and further help the planet. A 200 million euro fund raise is allegedly in the works for 2025, which would push the platform to unicorn status.
