Who you are
- At least 2-4 years of experience in an analytical, finance or compensation role
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills are required. Must be able to manage large data sets and perform functions such as table array, index match, vlookup, pivot tables, charts etc
- Outstanding attention to detail and quantitative/qualitative analysis skills
- Takes initiative and uses good judgment; excellent follow-up skills
- Detail oriented and sensitive with confidential data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high growth, changing environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally to participate in projects and activities based on business requirements
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Lead, Global Total Rewards Analyst to support the Global Total Rewards team
- Partner with Corporate, Community, Sales client groups on compensation related matters as a key part of the Global Compensation team
- Lead the annual salary survey participation, benchmarking, analyzing, and interpreting market data to provide recommendations for our global salary ranges with minimal supervision
- Advise on salary increases, market adjustments, promotion and incentive payouts as part of our global Annual Compensation Cycle
- Administer sales incentive payout calculation process
- Advise HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition Partners and partner with them to make compensation adjustments based on job evaluations, pay gap analysis, market data, and internal equity
- Evaluate new and existing roles for appropriate job families, levels and salary ranges
- Conduct data modeling and analysis to create presentations to support strategic compensation decisions and the further development of our compensation philosophy
- Ensure compensation data accuracy across HRIS platforms (Workday experience a plus)
- Independently manage queries from employees in our People Helpdesk - ticketing system (Salesforce)
- Assist with any ad hoc Total Rewards projects as needed, in coordination with the Compensation, Benefits, and Global Mobility functions
- Manage day-to-day administration of benefit programs, enrollments, and policy inquiries and be the subject matter expert on all matters related to benefits
- Manage invoice processing, including monitoring of cost, service levels and accuracy of data and invoices across benefits providers globally
- Play key role in monthly benefits administration, ensuring the payroll department and third-party provider are receiving documentation and reports on time in order to process accordingly
- Advise Global People Operations team with benefits onboarding and enrollment processing
- Write benefit communications and support increasing employee engagement
- Run ad-hoc reports on benefits utilization and help establish metrics
- Respond to employee queries both in person and through our People Helpdesk - ticketing system (Salesforce)
Our take
WeWork is a commercial real estate company that pioneered the shared workspace market, providing spaces for anyone from freelancers to Fortune 500s. Traditional leases typically require businesses to commit to an office for 5-10 years, whilst WeWork allows its members to scale up from a single hot desk to a private office or custom-built suite, depending on their needs.
WeWork has hundreds of locations across the globe, with hundreds of thousands of members. While its initial rapid growth and dominance in key global hubs was impressive, it has since had to scale back and strategically re-align itself in an unstable economic climate.
There is certainly still potential for WeWork to see renewed growth and success, especially as remote and hybrid working continues to be popular. That said, observers will have to wait to see the eventual affect of its restructuring - and only time will tell what the company's future looks like.
