Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- 3 - 5 years in varying Strategic Finance or FP&A roles, SaaS experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience with Financial Reporting systems, Netsuite and Adaptive Planning strongly preferred
- Prior business partnering experience, or demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders strongly preferred
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively translate for non-finance audiences of varying levels
- Demonstrated ability to manipulate, analyze, and summarize large data sets
- Superior analytical and modeling skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel
- High performance standards with high ethical values and passion for excellence
- Proven ability to operate and succeed within a fast-paced environment
- The ideal candidate has a strong FP&A foundation, with demonstrated success in business partnering
- This individual must be highly analytical and process oriented with excellent communication/collaboration skills and a proven track record of synthesizing and simplifying complex issues
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Financial Analyst, who will be an integral part of our finance team
- Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Finance, this individual will play a critical role on a team that combines strategy, analytics and financial analyses to enable the Company to scale successfully
- Additionally, you will drive key analyses underpinned by financial and analytic models at different granularity levels to drive operational and strategic insights
- Partner with cross-functional teams and support functions including FP&A and Accounting
- Drive strategic decision making by providing actionable insights through reporting and ad hoc analyses
- Support pricing, discounting and profitability analyses across existing and new product lines
- Drive 3-statement company financial model with the ability to create and maintain driver based financial models
- Build multiple forecast scenarios with business partner input
- Identify, recommend and drive process improvement initiatives to enable efficiencies and scale across the organization
- Develop and/or enhance key metrics that bring insightful and actionable insights
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and monthly/quarterly financial updates
- Perform ad hoc analyses as needed
