What the job involves
- Aura is expanding its Inside Sales team and seeking high-energy, ambitious Upsell Sales Specialists to help our existing customers maximize the value of their Aura memberships
- In this remote, work-from-home position, you'll proactively engage current Aura customers, consult on their needs, and offer additional products and upgrades that strengthen their digital protection
- This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact, develop your consultative sales skills, and grow your career in a fast-paced tech environment
- Aura's growing our Inside Sales squad and we're on the hunt for sharp, driven Upsell Sales Specialists to empower our current users to get even more out of their Aura memberships
- This fully remote role lets you work from anywhere while you proactively connect with our customers, understand their needs, and introduce them to extra features and upgrades that seriously boost their digital security
- This is a fantastic early career role for recent college graduates to kick-start their career in a fast-paced tech environment, hone their sales consultation skills, and have an immediate impact in our customers’ lives
- Master and evangelize Aura’s story and mission to “create a safer internet” for individuals and families
- Become an expert on Aura’s product suite and how it protects customers’ digital lives
- Make daily outbound calls to existing customers to discuss enhanced protection options, upgrades, and additional features
- Consult and advise customers on the best ways to strengthen their online safety through personalized solutions
- Achieve or exceed monthly upsell and revenue targets
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve sales approaches and customer experience
- Stay informed on industry trends and cybersecurity news to act as a trusted advisor to customers
Our take
Aura provides digital security solutions at both individual and enterprise level. An amalgamation of five businesses (including Intersections Inc, an identity theft solutions provider established in 1996) Aura brings together decades of experience in the security space.
Aura offers a range of plans to help businesses and consumers keep their data safe, with protection from identity theft, online financial theft and protection of technology and devices. It's a competitive space, with rivals including IDShield and IdentityForce. However Aura's combined experience in the field and the constantly increasing online security threats (for instance, catfishing - a scam where the perpetrator adopts a fictional persona to obtain personal information , financial gain or to lure someone into a relationship has doubled in frequency in the last 5 years) means there has proved to be plenty of room for the company to carve out space for itself in the market.
Aura's acquisition of the Pango Group in 2020 has proved to be profitable for the company, giving it access to more digital security verticals and helping to generate 35% year on year growth. It is continuing to scale the business, hiring more talent to make this a possibility.
