Who you are
- Our ideal candidate is a technical professional capable of offering customers specialized business and technical expertise
- 3+ years of experience at a minimum with Open Source Software business models and proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software is a minimum requirement
- Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
- Experience with creating POCs and reference implementations
Desirable
- Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers
- Experience with database programming and data models
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Solution Architect to help build out our AMER user and customer community
- This is an exciting opportunity to join right after the GA of our serverless Cloud product and help us form a vision for that in the market
- This role involves providing expert guidance to help clients achieve their objectives and better understand how they utilize ClickHouse
- Comfortable working with complex business and technological requirements and translating into the design of solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise scale architecture
- Working directly with customers at every layer of their organization (C Suite to data scientists and developers) and acting as a trusted advisor for our users
- Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and products, and secure strategic commercial commitments
- Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers
- Identify and drive new initiatives that enable customers to turn their data into actionable business value and align these initiatives with their business outcomes for continued success

Database management systems have long been important to the operations of businesses. However, these systems can be painfully slow. ClickHouse solves this problem with its ultra-fast database management system, that powers real-time analytics and apps.
ClickHouse's founding team hail from companies including Yahoo!, Netflix, Salesforce and Google. This has not only lent the company an impressive amount of credibility, but has also allowed it to identify the needs and challenges of enterprises when it comes to their databases. Its system works between 100 and 1,000 times faster than traditional options, and has led to the company being trusted by the likes of eBay, Uber and Spotify.
It has seen substantial funding too, the most recent of which is cited to help advance its platform across multiple use cases. Alongside this funding, it recently announced the acquisition of LibreChat, an open-source AI chat platform, allowing ClickHouse to launch its Agentic Data Stack. This move positions the company at the forefront of agentic analytics, allowing organizations to interact with massive datasets through AI agents, and demonstrates ClickHouses's commitment to shaping the future of real-time,. intelligent data analysis.
