Who you are
- Bachelor's degree with relevant research focus, such as User Experience, Human-centered design, or Human Factors in information systems
- Ideal candidates will have at least 1-3 years experience
- Experience working with both responsive web and mobile applications
- Passionate about healthcare and personal health
- Portfolio of relevant examples and/or demonstrable research skills
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills

- As part of the product design team at Well, you’ll have the opportunity to refine, improve, and expand upon the mobile app experience we deliver to members every day
- We are looking for a thoughtful and dedicated UX Researcher who can help our UX/UI Designer and Product Managers to observe and learn from users
- In this role, you’ll be asked to plan, coordinate and facilitate testing —while also delivering insights and actionable feedback to your collaborators
- Plan and execute a variety of research methods including usability tests, user interviews, concept testing, and surveys
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define research questions and prioritize study goals
- Analyze and synthesize data into compelling insights, recommendations, and narratives
- Share findings in formats that are actionable, engaging, and aligned with product timelines
- Contribute to and maintain user archetypes, journey maps, and insight repositories
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle
- Support team workshops, ideation sessions, and collaborative research activities

Our take
Mobile health-tracking apps have become popular over the last decade, but existing platforms often provide uniform services as opposed to personalizing each user's experience. In addition to this, incentives to regularly use an app are generally focused on mobile notifications and manual tracking systems, features that require manual data entry and are easy to ignore.
Well provides a digital health platform that leverages member health data to provide users with a personalized and all-in-one platform for improving their health. Instead of relying on notifications and uniform systems, member data is used to deliver daily health recommendations from AI clinicians, loyalty rewards, and direct support tools.
With many apps on the market for different health points, the digital health tracking landscape is very saturated, yet Well is taking a unified approach to providing personalized and authentic experiences for users. The platform aims to provide guidance that is actionable and engaging, as opposed to just another mobile app that is used on an occasional health kick.
