What the job involves
- Logz.io is seeking passionate, fun, energetic individuals to join our amazing Business Development team
- As a Business Development Representative, you are the hunter
- Our BDRs work to generate qualified prospects, expand on leads generated from marketing, and are heavily working to identify new opportunities
- Our Business Development program will lay the foundation and equip you with all the necessary tools to build a successful career in technology sales
- At Logz.io, you will discover, develop and master your craft as a sales professional
- We believe you never stop learning and will provide continuous training to ensure you WILL be successful
- Many of Logz.io’s top sales professionals began their careers as BDR
- Master Logz.io’s target market, business drivers and strategies
- Reach out to and follow up with respondents from a variety of marketing programs to initiate conversation, learn current business programs and qualify potential business application
- Leverage and master best-in-breed marketing technology
- Execute daily activities including phone calls and emails at a high quality to meet your monthly goals
- Identify key targets in our database and initiate contact with appropriate prospects, leveraging research resources to create intrigue, assess their current business methods and position Logz.io’s solutions
- Identify decision makers and company goals to position Logz.io appropriately
- Identify potential opportunities and transition leads to AE's by proactively setting up sales appointments for further qualification discussions
- Work cross functionally with key stakeholders within the business to ensure go-to-market strategy alignment

Logz.io, a leader in the AIOps and Observability Market, serves engineers across industries such as gaming, financial services, and eCommerce. Its Open 360 platform delivers observability with the most popular open source monitoring tools including OpenSearch and Prometheus, allowing teams to focus on building, deploying and monitoring their products.
Logz.io is partnered with Microsoft Azure, which enables cloud developers to use the company’s observability tools directly from the popular service. The company boasts an impressive client list including British Airways, Schneider Electric, Siemens, The Economist, and Symantec. It has recently added generative AI tools to its platform, a move that will help it keep ahead of the growing competition in this lucractive market which include major rivals like Splunk and Datadog.
