Who you are

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
Proven experience in finance management, accounting, and relevant financial functions in a B2B SaaS or technology-oriented industry, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment
Solid understanding of payroll processing, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, compliance, and auditing principles
Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

What the job involves

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager who is passionate about mentoring and eager to make an impact in a start-up environment
Reporting directly into the CEO, you will play a direct role in managing various financial functions, including:
Handle end-to-end payroll processing and expense management
Maintain general ledgers and perform weekly reconciliations
Prepare various financial reports, statements, and summaries as needed for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant UK laws, regulations, and internal policies
Assist in financial audits as required, cooperating with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations
