Role
Who you are
- Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-4 years of experience working as a Frontend Engineer
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Deep knowledge of React and state management solutions such as Redux or similar
- Extensive experience working with common web technologies, e.g. REST, JSON, SOAP, GraphQL, HTTPS, WebSockets and similar
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems and component libraries, including integrations with Storybook and Cypress a plus
Desirable
- Detail-oriented, focusing on writing maintainable code of high quality
- Relies on automated testing at all levels of the application
- Used to working in an agile team setting
- Used to collaborating closely with product managers, UX designer and business stakeholders
- Enjoy solving complex user challenges using technology, and are able to effectively weigh pros and cons of various solutions
What the job involves
- As a Frontend Engineer on a new and exciting UI and UX team, you will be contributing to the development, architecture, and evolution of our applications
- Your primary focus will be to develop and evolve the UI of multiple applications
- You will be implementing new components and features, crafting delightful user experiences in close collaboration with our designers
- You will be a key contributor in technical discussions, working closely with other engineers to determine the frontend and overall product architecture
- You will work closely with Product Management and UX designers, offering technical expertise throughout the design and discovery process
- Additionally, you will spend part of your time supporting other engineers, through regular code reviews and occasional pair programming
