Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of cross-functional marketing experience
- Content focused campaign execution experience - content creation, implementation and reporting. From blog posts to social media videos, to landing pages and digital banners
- Experience with carefully developed campaigns that have a key audience and objective in mind
- A keen eye for data - running various CRM programmes across different life stages of product ownership
- PR experience would be a plus
- Experience within grid services, automotive or utility companies would be a plus
- Experience working in a marketing/PR agency, VC or startup environment would be a plus
What the job involves
- Deeply understand our active users motivations and attitudes to Smart Charging through regular user research
- Create proposition tests to understand what messaging is best used to engage EV drivers in Grid Services programmes
- Work with our Product Marketing Manager to identify where we have gaps in our product or service offering, putting recommendations in place for improvements
- Work closely with our design and copy teams to create timely, relevant and delightful initiatives and campaigns that will increase the adoption of Grid Services throughout our global audience
- Act as the touch point for PR communications with external agencies or partners
Our take
Properly managing electric vehicle charging is critical to a low carbon future. With a growing numbers of EV rolling out over the world, ev.energy is tackling the unique set of pain points that exists for EV users.
The company has created an easy-to-use app to support users with each EV charging session. The app optimises and schedules charging times relative to grid demand, helping EV owners avoid peak tariffs, save money, prevent over-congestion on the grid and use the greenest electricity possible.
Strategic moves, such as a 2022 partnership struck with Easee, combining ev.energy's software with Easee's domestic chargers, indicate the company's continuous work to optimise user experience. while maximising the use of renewable energy. A Hypervolt charging station partnership in 2025, and a California Energy Commission grant of $41 million in 2024 show that ev.energy will remain a major player in the green energy software market.
