Who you are

Qualified AAT at Level 2 or have started your certificate levels in either ACCA or CIMA
1-2 years’ experience working in a finance-related role
Experience with Xero and/or Quickbooks is ideal
Proficient at Excel and/or Google Sheets
Experience of working with a portfolio of clients is desirable

What the job involves

This is no ordinary finance role… If you’re after normality, this isn’t for you! We're looking for more human, less accountant
Your role will be to:
Transform the finance function into a value adding machine, implementing and developing scalable systems and processes
Process the day to day transactions so efficiently that they become a breeze - say no to manual processes!
Be our first point of contact for your clients and effectively communicate to external stakeholders
Work across a portfolio of companies, ranging from startup’s to an established SME
Your day to day:
Processing: Manage the smooth processing of transactions, ensuring a well governed, efficient, and effective fin-ops infrastructure is in place. This will involve regular interaction with wider teams and people across each client you work on
Task management: Ensure weekly and monthly routine tasks are completed, continuously updating your workload in our task management software
Credit control: Maintain excellent oversight of the credit control process and take the necessary steps, where appropriate, to ensure funds are received
Payment runs: Prepare the payment run for review with a view to optimising cash flow management and keeping customers and suppliers happy too!
Month end: Assist with updating balance sheet schedules and posting journals.
Analysis: Review month end reports and provide insight around trends and highlights for the month and being prepared to explain variances against prior months and/or budgets
