Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience leading an analytics team, experience in the hospitality industry a plus
- Proficiency in SQL a must, Python, R a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to create meaningful dashboards and reports
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and delivering actionable insights through data analysis
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align analytics initiatives with business objectives
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team
- Strong project management skills, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying complex analytical concepts to less-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
What the job involves
- As the Director of Operations Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the operations analytics team, developing strategies, and leveraging data to optimize our operations and enhance the overall guest & owner experience
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Technology, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions
- Your role will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, profit optimization, and customer satisfaction across our vacation rental portfolio
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Operations team to identify key performance metrics and develop dashboards, reports. & analysis to monitor operational performance
- Lead and manage the operations analytics team, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and professional development
- Develop and execute an analytics roadmap aligned with business goals, ensuring the team's efforts are focused on high-impact initiatives
- Conduct rigorous analysis of operations data, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and revenue optimization
- Coordinate with FP&A partners to develop and enhance forecasting models for field, housekeeping, and customer experience costs, seasonal staffing strategies, & overall market profitability
- Utilize advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to identify trends and patterns in guest behavior and preferences
- Collaborate with the Data Products & Ops Product teams to define data requirements and ensure the availability and quality of data for analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in operations analytics
