Who you are
- A proven track record in the gaming or digital media space
- Strong leadership and communications skills, to lead an internal team and work with some of the world’s leading mobile game developers and publishers
- A proven track record of building marketing campaigns that drive growth
- Experience with go-to-market plans and manging and building strategic partnerships
- Ability to use data to build and manage to performance based plans. Set KPI’s, manage to targets and pivot to achieve successful outcomes
- A user-centric view. A proven ability to see problems, solutions and value through the eyes of the end user and build and deliver campaigns that resonate with players and game communities
- Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proven track record of high performance and positively influence key stakeholders
- Pragmatic and agile. Able to initiate, develop and deliver plans and projects
- Self-motivated, autonomous and resourceful
- Able to lead and drive strategy, and roll your sleeves up and get the work done

What the job involves
- Lead the game manager (product marketing) team, and work with our developers and internal commercial teams to develop growth strategies to acquire new users and grow revenue for Flexion’s portfolio of games
- Work with developers and Flexion’s commercial team to build and execute product growth strategies
- Develop go-to-market plans for new games and support the commercial onboarding of new developers
- Build strong partnerships with Flexion’s developers to foster collaboration and cooperate on marketing campaigns and promotions
- Lead and develop a small team of Game Managers to manage developer partnerships and build strong marketing and promotion plans for their portfolio of games
- Work closely with the Head of User Growth to develop paid + organic growth strategies and execution plans for Flexion’s key titles

Our take
Most mobile games developers deploy their games to Google Play Store or the Apple Store, but they are leaving money on the table. Launching on alternative marketplaces such as Huawei App Gallery, Samsung Galaxy App Store or the Amazon App Store could add up to 10% of a game's lifetime revenue. However, the differing requirements of each of these stores are a hurdle to developers, who often see modifying their games features as a serious barrier to entry. Flexion Mobile exists to fix this, allowing developers to easily launch their games everywhere and reap the benefits.
Flexion is unique in this space, handling set up, maintenance, monetisation and compliance in numerous markets on behalf of their customers. While other firms will do this, Flexion's unique selling point is its automated enabling feature, which automatically optimises features from an app's Google Play version to ensure its compatibility with any other sales channel, a huge time saver for developers.
Flexion is working to develop its product through strategic acquisitions such as its 2022 purchase of Audiencly, allowing it to create new revenue opportunities for its customers. With a customer base which includes huge developers such as Top Games (Evony), Onemt (King's Choice) and Wargaming (World of Tanks), and a track record of generating double-digit revenue boosts for its customers, it is in an excellent position to extend its market lead.
