SEO Copywriter, Proton

• We welcome applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate 3+ years of hands-on experience in copywriting, content marketing, CRM, and/or a related field
• You’ll have a track record of creating highly effective conversation copy for a large company, or from within an agency, including product launches, content marketing, email marketing campaigns, advertisements, etc
• Flawless written and spoken English,
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adapt your style, tone, and voice according to the goals set together with the team,
• A strong understanding of brand, particularly community,
• The ability to work independently, be self-motivated and be proactive. You won’t require constant input and will be able to collaborate with the wider team when needed,
• A meticulous eye for detail and being naturally process-driven,
• An analytical mind and an interest in using data to optimize marketing strategies and tactics,
• A passion for the world of security, tech, or privacy, and an ability to inspire others

Desirable

• As part of the Content team, you will work with different teams that require quality copywriting, but especially with our Product Marketing and SEO teams. Your role will involve writing clear and compelling copy for landing pages, blog posts, emails, and other content types to help drive business. Day-to-day you’ll be:
• Writing clear and error-free marketing copy for our website, blog, emails, video, etc. that reflects Proton’s tone of voice
• Writing SEO copy to help boost Proton’s appearance in search engines
• Working closely with our Product Marketing teams to understand our audience and our business objectives, so that you can create relevant and engaging copy that converts
• Interpreting creative direction and technical information, and turning them into easy-to-digest and persuasive copy
• Collaborating with PR and other marketing departments to brainstorm and develop a good content mix that earns media coverage
• Measuring the effectiveness of your copy and making adjustments as needed
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing copywriting
