- You have experience designing, implementing, running, and maintaining production front-end code using React, NextJS, CSS, and other frameworks
- You have experience testing complex fullstack applications using tools like Cypress and Storybook
- You have experience with scalable, user-facing applications that require complex state management, real-time user events, and intricate UI/UX for both mobile and desktop
- You can quickly iterate with product and design teams as part of a tight user-validated feedback loop
- You’re passionate about details; you strive for pixel-perfect front-end code and lightning-fast load times
- You understand the importance of reliable monitoring, deployment strategies, and a highly scalable and robust cloud infrastructure
- You have experience with best practices and patterns that allow the most skilled engineering teams to communicate effectively and deliver quickly and regularly
- You want to write high-quality code and build a world-class engineering team
- You are electrified by the possibilities and challenges of rapidly shipping and iterating on user-facing code and building a consumer application with high public visibility

What the job involves
- We are hiring a world-class team of software engineers to architect, implement, and deploy a consumer-facing product that harnesses AI to surface trusted information for more confident user decisions
- In these nascent stages, you must be comfortable experimenting rapidly: working with the founding team to implement new, experimental interfaces and ultimately deploy the best solution in regular, early product releases

You.com provides a privacy-first personalized search engine, allowing users to integrate apps and personal preferences into the browser extension to optimize their search results based on what they are looking for. The search engine also guarantees that search history and cookies will not be logged by the company, in addition to preventing websites and advertisers from tracking browsing habits.
Whilst the company's competition from the likes of Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other search engine giants is fierce, You.com shows great potential having served 1B queries and boasting millions of active users. With a 500% increase in ARR since January 2024 and a recent $560M Series B Funding round, the company is rapidly scaling, becoming a rising player in the AI and search space.
