Senior Sales Strategy & Planning Manager, The RealReal

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ years of work experience in sales operations or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of sales processes and CRM systems, particularly in relation to quota, territory management, and workforce planning
• Expert knowledge of Excel, Salesforce CRM, and experience in financial modeling
• Ability to present high volume data in a concise, clear manner and derive actionable business insight
• Experience developing/improving processes and creating plans to increase efficiency
• Strong team player; experience working effectively cross-functionally and across different levels of the company
• Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving and communicating recommendations
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive

Desirable

• Build and maintain working knowledge of the entire end-to-end Sales process at TRR
• Drive the end-to-end process for territory design, execution, and management; look for opportunities to optimize sales territories
• Maintain and optimize the end-to-end process for rep-level quota design and execution
• Oversee hiring and workforce management for the Sales organization, including geo-specific hiring, attrition trends, and backfilling; requires cross-functional coordination with Recruiting and Sales leaders
• Define policies and process around sales workflows; ensure that these policies are adhered to by all levels of sales (individual contributors and leadership)
• Manage operations analyst(s) to ensure daily tasks and activities are completed in appropriate SLAs
• Manage cross-functional projects with our Sales, partner management, Operations, Product, Engineering, business operations and business development teams to improve the seller experience and achieve targets
• Develop, instrument, and maintain Sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support the rhythm of the business through weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
• Evaluate business performance, diagnose root causes, and prescribe action informed by data-driven insights
