Role
Who you are
- Degree in a STEM or finance-related field preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in a finance, data, or analytical role
- Exposure to reporting or compliance environments is advantageous
- Interest in gambling, compliance, or risk management
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable
- Strong understanding of SQL is preferred
What the job involves
- As part of Entain’s commitment to player protection and regulatory excellence, the Safer Gambling Finance Analyst will support the development and delivery of insightful reporting and analysis within the Retail division
- This role plays a key part in ensuring that data-driven insights help identify and mitigate risks related to customer safety and compliance
- Working closely with the Finance, Data & Analytics, and Safer Gambling teams, the analyst will contribute to the evolution of reporting tools and dashboards, helping to ensure that the business remains proactive in its approach to Safer Gambling
- Working with compliance teams to understand proposed changes and building out robust forecasts for the impact
- Providing analytics support to review the effectiveness of any changes to our policy or approach
- Evaluate the effectiveness of our SG policies and implementation
- Assist in the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards that support safer gambling initiatives
- Support the collation and presentation of data to internal stakeholders
- Help ensure reporting aligns with regulatory and internal standards
- Work with large datasets to extract and prepare data for analysis
- Support the integration of new data sources into existing reporting frameworks
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Build effective working relationships with internal teams to understand reporting needs
- Assist in gathering requirements and translating them into reporting outputs
- Present findings in a clear and accessible manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
