Who you are
- You have 3-5 years of experience working for a range of clients and brands
- You are a master of all the usual Creative Cloud packages
- Illustration and animation skills are a plus
- You have a strong portfolio of creative work

What the job involves
- We are looking for a talented and passionate designer to help us scale our Headspace social presence as we scale our brand beyond meditation
- Generate creative, visual, and functional solutions that achieve Headspace’s strategic social marketing goals
- Help to conceptualize, design and execute a variety of social content for Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube and TikTok
- Work collaboratively with different stakeholders and teams to craft strategic social brand experiences
- Simplify abstract concepts and complex ideas into visually stunning and playful designs
- Execute design ideas while mentoring brand junior designers
- You have equally strong conceptual and production skills, with a keen eye for effective typography, iconography, color, layout, texture, and transitions that work within the context of the Headspace brand and an ability to translate those into intuitive, accessible, and visually-compelling designs
- You will be able to work with the strategic planners in both Marketing, Enterprise, Production, and Product to define and bring to life creative direction across various channels and briefs
- You understand and instinctively know how to a) understand business objectives for creative work and b) ensure that the output generates the right results
- You will inspire those around you to think bigger and to always push creative boundaries
- You will bring strong conceptual ideas that are strategically correct and on-brief (or you challenge the brief)
- You love feedback and encourage all creative work to be reviewed and discussed both during and after delivery. You are always looking for opportunities to fine tune the work to deliver on objectives
- You’ll know your print specs from your digital specs and you’ll be able to design anything from digital banners to a full-scale integrated campaign

The world is facing a growing mental health crisis. In 2022, the US saw the proportion of the population with acute anxiety, depression, or other mental health needs grow from 20% to 40%.
Headspace is a digital mental health platform best known for its guided meditation and mindfulness app, which has expanded into a broader suite of mental health services. Through therapy, coaching, meditation, and self-care tools, the company is making mental health support more accessible and preventative.
In 2021, Headspace merged with on-demand mental healthcare provider Ginger in a $3B deal to form Headspace Health, a move that brings clinical care and everyday mental wellness into a single platform. Today, its services are being used by more than 100M people and over 4,000 enterprises, including Starbucks, Adobe, and Paramount.
Demand for virtual mental healthcare continues to rise, and the market is becoming increasingly competitive, with players such as Hims & Hers Health entering the space. However, Headspace stands out by combining clinical care with everyday mental wellness tools, expanding its offerings through strategic acquisitions like AI health firm Sayana, and now bringing its services directly to businesses in the UK, positioning itself for growth bon a global scale.
