Neon Labs is the company behind Neon EVM, which allows users to use dApps and tools from Ethereum on Solana's blockchain.
Neon was founded by blockchain expert and entrepreneur Marina Guryeva, previously of CyberFund and Commun. Guryeva founded the company in order to combine Ethereum's virtual machine functionality with Solana's scalability and low transaction costs. This innovation has proven highly popular among dApp developers and end-users alike.
Neon's on-chain solution is the first of its kind on Solana, but it's likely other developers will follow suit in the years to come. By opening up markets for developers and creators on both Solana and Ethereum, the company is likely to attract an impressive user-base.
