What the job involves

As a UX/Front-end Engineer, you’ll build amazing interfaces that will empower developers and non-developers deploy models, monitor them, and analyze production data
Using a combination of strong programming skills and a creative, user-focused mindset, you will have full ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, and maintaining innovative new functionality across the stack
Design and develop key interfaces of Snorkel Flow, including interfaces for managing deployments, automatically analyzing data, and visualizing key metrics
Work directly with world-class customers to help create intuitive interfaces for ML development
Advocate and help define standards for the best practices in performance, product quality, security and user experience across the entire application
Provide mentorship and foster a growth and collaborative mindset for all members of your team
Collaborate with cross functional teams on developing large scale products
Proactively identify technical debt and implement solutions to improve product iteration

Demand for AI is increasing in almost every industry, but the machine learning that fuels it is tedious to set up. In order to train machine learning algorithms, training data must be labelled manually, and this contributes to expenses in time, money and resources when integrating AI within a business.

Snorkel AI develops programmatic approaches to data labelling in order to automate the setup process of machine learning and decrease the required timeframe for a business to begin providing AI services. In addition to these automated data categorization services, the company also integrates data training, management, and analysis into a unified AI-deployment platform.

The complex computer science behind AI setup has resulted in many businesses without computer science backgrounds being left behind, and Snorkel AI has set this as their target audience.
