Product Designer, Lucidity

• You have a proven track record at a SaaS company and are comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment with changing priorities
• You have solid experience in product/UX design, with a deep understanding of design thinking, product discovery, UX research methodologies, the end-to-end design process and have exceptional attention to detail
• You’re an expert in Figma and are comfortable designing web apps and maintaining a design system
• You understand that good design is not about the latest trends, but based on well-reasoned decisions that advocate the best possible user experience
• You know the importance of teamwork and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback
• You’re proactive, commercially minded and an independent thinker, not afraid to suggest new ideas and pick up new challenges
• You’re a problem solver and passionate about understanding people’s relationships with the products they use and the environments in which they operate
• You’re research and data-driven and able to interpret business and user needs to make strategic decisions backed by evidence, not just gut feel
• You’re great at communicating your design decisions with detailed wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and user flows. You’re able to bring stakeholders along on the journey with you and are comfortable handing over and working closely with engineers
• You understand how to work in an Agile environment, can output quickly and improve designs iteratively rather than taking a long time to reach perfection
• You understand that writing is designing, you're a confident writer, and the copy in your screens is never an afterthought

Desirable

• You’ll be responsible for all product design output at Lucidity. From creating brand new features, to helping improve existing ones, to maintaining the design system. There will be opportunity to grow with us, either as an individual contributor or managing a team of designers in the future
• You will own the product design process. From discovery and UX research, to wireframing and high fidelity UI designs, every day will be different
• You'll be embedded in the product team, working collaboratively with our Head of Product, the CTO and the engineering team to explore the problem space, shape solutions, and support delivery
• You’ll live in Figma, Notion, Slack & Asana, with the occasional dip into Adobe Creative Cloud
• You’ll write specs to communicate your designs, and review our releases on QA before they ship
• You’ll constantly strive to learn and understand our customers more. You'll run user research sessions to experiment with different designs to validate assumptions and ensure we’re ultimately building the *right* things
• You’ll collaborate often and communicate clearly. Whilst you will be working autonomously, you’ll need to keep stakeholders informed and the team in the loop

• 3) Interview and small design challenge, with plenty of time for questions about Lucidity (60 minutes)
