Who you are
- Enthusiasm, passion, energy and the desire to make a positive change in healthcare
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Senior Growth Specialist or similar
- Significant experience in digital marketing and health-related industries, and ideally a thorough knowledge of the NHS’s structure, its trends and how it makes decisions on procuring digital solutions
- Innovative and strategic thinker, with the ability to identify market trends and translate them into actionable marketing plans
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven strategic decisions to engage targeted leads and effectively convert them into Marketing Qualified Leads
- Experienced in building great relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Track record of high performance
- Excellent communication skills
What the job involves
- Your role will be to scale Isla’s marketing function in order to drive growth and brand recognition in our target markets
- With a Marketing team reporting to you, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through collaboration with the Sales teams
- You will take the lead on developing and executing our marketing strategies to drive our expansion within the NHS, and will be key to supporting Isla to launch into new markets
- You will own the implementation of a marketing roadmap that both improves existing channels and validates new channels
- You will lead our Marketing team, whilst also working closely with our Sales team to align marketing strategies with sales and revenue growth goals
- You will be reporting directly to the CEO to ensure you're developing professionally, are happy and motivated in your role and are being exposed to the wider business functions and health industry
- Develop our overall growth strategy and revenue expansion through marketing initiatives and coordinate the team's efforts to achieve measurable results
- Create a clear and consistent brand identity across everything Isla and ensure that the business is aligned behind this messaging to create clarity for our audiences
- Establish a repeatable process for generating qualified leads into the business, increase customer acquisition and optimise conversion funnels
- Explore new market opportunities
- Proactively continue to build your network of senior leadership within the NHS

Our take
Isla wants to empower healthcare professionals by allowing them to use visual data—photos and videos of patients—by securely recording this data to a medical professional's smartphone.
The ambitious startup has partnered with the Central London Community Healthcare Trust and the NHS, successfully supporting various NHS trusts on their digitisation journey. Isla will focus on leveraging visual data to improve end-of-life care and dermatology services. Additionally, the company has added an Impact page to its website, showcasing evidence of Isla's benefits.
Now that a case can be made for visual health data flows being helpful, the company's platform could see even wider adoption. Once sufficiently high-quality data sets have been collected, Isla can use the visual data, provided with patient consent, to inform medical practice more generally.
The next few years at Isla should be interesting as the company is looking to replicate the operation of its product across several hospitals and healthcare facilities. Isla's end game is to be fully integrated into all incumbent Patient Administration Systems to make the platform seamless for clinicians.
