Who you are

You know your stuff when it comes to the major social media platforms (Facebook, Snap, Tik-Tok, Youtube) and emerging social trends
You can demonstrate your past success running fast paced, high output social media channels that monetise
Happy to be hands on. Confident and skilled using video and photo editing software – Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop
Able to review, advise and develop Junior editors and freelance support to ensure they deliver quality edits
Happy to work against tight deadlines in a fast paced production environment
Motion graphics experience is a big plus
You are an evangelist for UGV and looking to take on a career defining role
Having the ability to spot a story that the audience will love to watch or hear about
Love nothing more than rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in. You are equally comfortable work independently or as part of a team
Are resourceful, optimistic, tenacious, confident, and full of energy. Someone with an entrepreneurial mind set able to build strong relationships with a range of different stakeholders
Happy to work from our London HQ a least three days a week

What the job involves

We are looking for someone based in the UK who will lead the production of compelling, attention grabbing, can’t stop watching video, for our shows across multiple social media platforms
Oversee all video content for social pages managing a team of Junior and Freelance producers
Create, execute, and edit content in multiple formats and of various lengths. adding titles, text, and metadata for maximum audience engagement
Regularly monitoring insights using social media analysis tools, and reviewing and reporting on effectiveness to maximise result
Identify themes and social crazes trending across social platforms and the Newsflare video vault
Always work within the community guidelines and best practise for each social platform

Newsflare was founded in 2017, and since then it has grown into one of the biggest companies of its kind. As of 2021, it had paid out over £8 million to video creators, testament to the value of its platform. The company now boasts the biggest collection of rights-cleared videos in the world.

Newsflare raised a further £5 million in funding in 2022, which it is using to accelerate its expansion into new markets such as Southeast Asia. This will allow the company to further scale its platform and user base, and to remain a dominant figure in the market.
