Mechanical Engineering Intern, Anduril Industries

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field
• Must be a rising senior at the time of their internship and returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies for at least one quarter/semester
• Collegiate project team or laboratory experience
• Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate engineering program
• CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards
• Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills
• High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles
• Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in Costa Mesa, CA

Desirable

• This is a paid, in-person, 12 week internship based out of Costa Mesa, CA
• This internship role will be a part of the Missiles Engineering team
• Design & build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production
• Present design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, design & execute hardware test plans
• Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision
• Get exposure to missile integration and testing
• Travel to test sites and vendors as needed
