Experience with Microsoft tools – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SQL
Bachelor's Degree – economics, engineering, or physics preferred

What the job involves

Help gather client requirements for new engagements and determine how best to utilize RiskInsight® software to accomplish client's goals
Work with clients to set up RiskInsight® software in their environment
Run RiskInsight® software against client data and produce detailed results
Help analyze and summarize client data and results for use in client reports and presentations
Test new releases of RiskInsight® and ensure the software provides the desired results

Natural disasters and environmental catastrophes are on the rise, as is the demand for tools to track and assess their damage. Karen Clark & Company (KCC) solves these issues by providing insurers with a catastrophe damage modelling platform.

KCC was founded by the team behind AIR Worldwide, the world's first catastrophe modelling company. Compared to AIR, KCC is focused on offering insurers more consistent, transparent and flexible modelling tools. Since its founding, the company has worked with insurers during catastrophes such as Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Ida.

KCC's forward-facing approach has allowed it to outpace more traditional catastrophe modelling options. However, the company will need to work hard to maintain this lead and continue to deliver cutting-edge modelling solutions to its clients.
