Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience as a technical writer, with a track record of creating high-quality technical documentation
- Strong understanding of documentation standards, best practices, and tools
- Experience with creating interactive documentation, web pages, and knowledge bases
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for web content creation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- Humble and self-aware
What the job involves
- As a Lead Tech Writer at Verifiable, you will lead the charge in creating a robust and consistent documentation framework for our products and services
- You will be responsible for developing a new tech writer function within the company and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality documentation
- Your role will be critical in ensuring our users have access to clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly documentation
- This role reports to the VP of Product
- Documentation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive documentation strategy that aligns with Verifiable's goals and objectives
- Content Creation: Create and maintain a wide range of technical documents, including user guides, API documentation, FAQs, tutorials, and more
- Interactive Documentation: Design and develop interactive documentation solutions, such as web pages, knowledge bases, and rich media content, to enhance user engagement and understanding
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
- User-Centric Approach: Focus on the needs of our users to deliver documentation that is accessible, user-friendly, and meets their information requirements
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve and update existing documentation to reflect product updates, enhancements, and changes
- Documentation Tools: Utilize modern documentation tools and technologies to streamline the content creation process

Healthcare organizations have long suffered from poor access to real-time credentialing data, meaning that they may find it difficult to ensure their patients and customers that staff members are who they say they are. Verifiable has built an automation tool that can quickly undertake healthcare credentialing and compliance processes, verifying a healthcare provider’s background information, skills, and competency levels.
Boasting the ability to accelerate credentialing processes from weeks to days, it’s no surprise that Verifiable’s API-first approach has attracted nearly $50 million in investment. It has expanded its focus to enterprise customers as well as healthcare providers and has a lucrative partnership with Salesforce. Its 2023 round of funding will be funnelled into expanding the latter, whilst also growing its team and product line.
