Role
Who you are
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive HR experience, as an HR Business Partner or an HR Generalist
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency with Paylocity (required) and Jira (preferred)
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable and eager to work across internal teams
- An understanding of what engages tech employees, and what makes them grow and thrive in their careers

What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support our technical teams.
- This individual will partner with leaders and individual contributors to proactively provide support and guidance on career advancement, employee relations, leveling, and org design (and so much more!).
- Reporting to the Director of HR, the Senior HRBP will be a key figure in maintaining an engaged tech culture at Lendbuzz
- Support the US-based tech departments as the dedicated HR point of contact
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle (eg onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding)
- Coach leaders to improve management skills and leadership capabilities
- Partner with executive leadership to design and launch strategic HR initiatives
- Conduct regular check-ins with employees across the tech teams; summarize themes and take action on findings
- Process status changes and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records
- Own Paylocity administration including platform upkeep, configuration, and optimization
- Perform data analysis, participate in audits, and generate reports
- Configure Paylocity performance modules to support company evaluation cycles
- Consult with managers and employees to guide them through the evaluation process
- Lead performance calibration sessions to ensure fair, consistent scoring across teams
- Provide coaching and mentoring to foster professional growth within the People team

On a mission to help individuals currently underserved by the traditional credit system, Lendbuzz is an automobile finance platform that uses machine learning and AI to help consumers with little to no credit history access financing when buying a car.
Research found that nearly two thirds of consumers want to improve their credit scores, likely because it’s deemed the only way to access loans and credit cards. Whilst banks and traditional lenders assess credit based on FICO scores, Lendbuzz finds new signals and other relevant data to assess a person’s credit worthiness.
$100 million in lending capital from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is fuelling more warehouse capacity for Lendbuzz's loan origination growth. It has secured its substantial investment thanks to a prolonged period of high performance, having established a year-on-year loan originations growth of more than 100% per annum.
