Role
Who you are
- You have at least 1 year of direct sales development experience in a remote, SaaS environment. You either have outbound experience sourcing leads through social channels, email sequences, and cold-calling prospects, or you have experience handling inbound leads from marketing + demand generation efforts
- You thrive in a remote setting. For us, that means being empathetic, proactively communicating, and bringing ingenuity + initiative to your every day
- You have a general understanding of the different business challenges prospects experience depending on their level of seniority within an organization
- You are curious and able to adapt to dynamic research, development, and industry knowledge
- You know how to identify and simplify sophisticated issues + explain them to prospective clients
- You take extreme ownership for your book of business. We want self-starters who are passionate about hunting for new business and know how to balance freedom with accountability
- You have experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM, using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and/or Outreach for outbound prospecting
- You have a hunger to constantly improve by seeking out feedback and are self-aware of your capabilities + knowledge. You’re looking to grow your career in a world-class revenue organization committed to investing in your development
- You take pride in your communication and see it as a representation of your brand. You understand that clear, concise communication builds rapport and trust

What the job involves
- Leverage Osano’s best-in-class tech stack to prospect and perform multi-channel outbound strategies that generate qualified opportunities, meeting established goals, and KPIs
- Test new and innovative approaches to lead generation, outreach, nurturing, messaging, targeting, and pipeline management. You must feel comfortable in a highly iterative, evolving environment where we see the fruits of our experiments.
- Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop sales-ready leads from accounts that fit Osano’s ICP
- Nurture our supportive culture by building relationships across the company + being intentional when handing off prospects to our Account Executives.
- Collaborate with product marketing and account executives to design, refine, and document value propositions from scratch to understand how to best route a variety of customers to multiple types of products.
- Stay up-to-date with privacy trends + our technical products, services, and pricing model.

Our take
Osano aims to help companies manage their privacy law compliance. It’s a simple proposition, but one with application across all sectors - and all sizes of business. Osano’s own privacy score calculator, for example, ranks companies as large as X among those whose privacy practices are “very poor”.
This kind of offering is growing in popularity, with the advent of increasingly stringent privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA. Infractions can be devastatingly costly, and with these laws frequently changing it is imperative that companies keep on top of compliance.
Osano helps to ease these worries by simplifying this complicated process for companies, making their service a much needed one in this heavily regulated world of data compliance. Interestingly, the company provides assurance of inheriting data privacy fines of its customers, should they ever find themselves in such a bind.
The company has netted significant funding since being founded. With the risk and compliance software market competitive and growing, Osano will need to tread both carefully and boldly to stand out from the crowd. To this end, it continues to invest in product development, which has contributed to it gaining industry recognition for its offering.
