Who you are

3+ years of development experience, building scalable, web-based applications
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

What the job involves

We are looking for a Javascript / Front-End / Full Stack Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming
Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes from Figma to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
You will work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Product Design, and additional Engineering resources, collaboration and communication are essential to this role
At Beatclub, you'll be part of an organization that values vision, execution, and persistence, and you'll help build our product by solving complex challenges in simple, elegant ways
Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Understand and contribute to the technical solution from design through to code level
Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress

Our take

Within most sectors you’ll find experts who have gone on to create tools that they would have liked to have themselves. Beatclub is an example of this, co-founded by record producer Timbaland and his long term manager Gary Marella, that supplies a marketplace to connect the music community to buy, licence or sell things like beats and samples.

Positioning itself to be the most creator-friendly tool in the market, Beatclub has lured some of the largest names in the business like Justin Timberlake to join its community. Competitors including Splice or Loopcloud offer similar products, however Beatclub stands out by providing additional features that support artist networking and collaboration.

Beatclub has also partnered with world-class music softwares to provide an all-in-one subscription that includes the marketplace, networking and music creation tools. With such large names on-board, regular funding successes, and constant evolution of its product, the company is an exciting one to watch, and it will be interesting to see how Beatclub continues to pioneer in its sector.
