Who you are

- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Paid Search Analytics is required
- Familiarity with major paid search platforms, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads and experience working with the Google / Bing Ads API
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R). Knowledge of dbt would be highly beneficial
- A solid understanding of key marketing concepts such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV) or Payback
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with marketing teams and communicate complex data insights clearly
- Experience in mobile app environments and with MMPs is an advantage
- A strong focus on connecting insights to experiments and business outcomes
What the job involves
- We are looking for a results-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics team at Wise
- Our mission, "Money Without Borders," inspires us to create the best ways to move and manage money globally
- You'll work closely with our team to develop strategies that boost our performance on Google Ads, Bing and Apple Search Ads
- Collaborate with the Paid Search team to discover ways to optimise and expand our paid campaigns. This could involve refining our bidding strategies, exploring various conversion events or enhancing our experimentation capabilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of keywords, ad copy, landing pages, and targeting to extract actionable insights to improve acquisition
- Analyse the performance of our paid search initiatives, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to proactively tackle challenges and seize opportunities
- Work closely with Paid Search Managers to turn your insights into effective optimisation strategies
- Develop metrics and reporting frameworks to track performance, delivering clear and concise insights to stakeholders
- Present your findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a straightforward and engaging manner
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in SEM, particularly regarding optimization and tracking

Our take
Wise started when the two founders realised they would be better off trading Estonian kroons for British pounds (and vice versa) between themselves rather than going through banks. That was back in 2011, and they've since grown Wise into one of Europe's most successful tech businesses, exchanging billions of currency every month.
Wise rapidly grew by solving a significant problem for customers, who lost too much money to banks when exchanging currency. Its attracted investment from some of the best investors in the world, from Andreesen Horowitz to Index Ventures and even Richard Branson.
While the market is crowded with new entrants (think Revolut and Monzo) and traditional banks trying to catch up, Wise is still staying one step ahead having recently opened a new hub in India and new payment features as well as reporting a rise in key metrics on higher volume and customer growth. This continued growth positions the company well for continued success in the future.
