Role
Who you are
- 3-5 + years of experience in customer marketing, customer success, or advocacy roles
- Strong storytelling and content development skills, and Experience with Salesforce
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure program success
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with customer lifecycle and journey mapping
- Public speaking or event management experience
- Knowledge of social media and community engagement strategies

What the job involves
- Our Customer Advocacy Manager is responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with customers to turn them into enthusiastic brand advocates
- This role focuses on capturing customer success stories, managing advocacy programs, and amplifying the voice of the customer across marketing, sales, and product teams
- Develop and execute a customer advocacy strategy that drives engagement, retention, and brand loyalty
- Identify satisfied customers and recruit them into advocacy programs (case studies, testimonials, references, reviews, and events)
- Manage customer reference programs to support sales and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing to create compelling customer stories, including case studies, videos, and social proof
- Partner with customer success and support teams to identify advocacy opportunities
- Organise and manage customer events, webinars, and community initiatives
- Track and report on advocacy program performance and ROI
- Gather and share customer feedback with product and leadership teams to influence roadmap decisions
- Maintain relationships with key customer champions and stakeholders
- Success Metrics:
- Number and quality of customer advocates recruited
- Volume and impact of customer-generated content
- Customer participation in references and events
- Influence on pipeline and revenue through advocacy efforts
- Customer satisfaction and retention improvements
Our take
For enterprises, data capture is increasing at a rapid rate, but visibility into this data is still surprisingly low. Acceldata enables businesses to monitor their data across a range of environments, exposing interactions between data sets and optimizing databases to increase performance and reliability while lowering costs.
Acceldata was founded by veterans of Zalando, InMobi ,and Hortonworks, which allowed it to both identify and address key data pain points facing enterprises today. The platform leverages AI and machine learning to help its clients "win in the data economy" by reducing performance incidents, improving productivity, and lowering spend on infrastructure.
Data observability platforms are becoming increasingly prevalent, and Acceldata's main challenge will be competing with companies like Datafold and Monte Carlo. Despite this, Acceldata has displayed promising growth, and carved itself a space in the burgeoning market. 2023 funding will be used to increase awareness for data observability, and in turn capture more data-driven companies as clients.
