- You’re a detail-oriented data analyst who thrives on challenges and will tackle any project. You have a passion for data and love digging in to find insights. You have experience in cross-functional analytics and a solid business acumen.

- Ideally you may have experience working with external clients and be ready to hit the ground running helping us mature our data structures and dashboarding in this functional area
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics
- 2+ years of experience with complex SQL
- 2+ year professional experience with dbt
- 1+ year professional experience with Git
- Experience with predictive analysis and statistical methods
- Experience building data visualizations using BI tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau etc
- Experience in a consulting background or working with external stakeholders
- Exceptional communicator and storyteller with strong client-facing data presentation skills
- Professional experience in Insurance industry is a plus
- Experience using R, Python, IDMC, Snowflake, Oracle, or Shareplex is a plus

- Beam is looking for a Senior Data Analyst who exemplifies a passion for data analysis, driving strategy, and building data solutions. Data is one of our largest assets at Beam, and this role is crucial in delivering valuable insights and data products that will empower the organization.
- This person will work with both business and technical stakeholders to better understand our business challenges and become a subject matter expert in our data to produce the most beneficial recommendations.
- This role will be cross functional in nature, working with stakeholders across and external to Beam on projects ranging from financial reporting, scenario analysis, and carrier solutions
- Working in a complex and dynamic business, simultaneously serving customers across employee benefits insurance product lines and growth and service channels

- Exemplify a passion for data and possess the ability to transform it into actionable insights
- Analyze large data sets and glean insights to deliver to stakeholders autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Build complex data models to transform data using dbt
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to consult on business challenges and make business recommendations
- Build automated dashboards and reporting using tools like Looker
- Have high attention to detail and the ability to ask clarifying questions to ensure the accuracy of analysis
- Display a high level of business acumen and strong communication skills to deliver effectively to all levels of the organization
- Be tenacious in learning our business’s opportunities and becoming a subject matter expert
- Collaborate with other analysts on best practices to uplift team knowledge and performance
