Who you are
- Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- This position requires one year of experience with each of the following: Java, Spring, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PL/SQL, Object oriented design patterns, Restful services, Agile development methodologies
What the job involves
- Design and develop a new feature for the browse experience services based on scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of the user experience
- Maintain and support infrastructure services for better performance and usability across external teams
- Modify browse experience services to correct errors, allowing it to adapt to new user stories, or to improve its performance using more advanced design patterns like factory, strategy, and decorator design patterns
- Test software development methodology in an agile environment and provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
- Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites
- Consult with internal teams about software system design and maintenance
- Conduct site surveys and site analysis by running experiments in timely manner
- Partial telecommuting is permitted from within a commutable distance
- 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
