Who you are
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and operating high-performance, low-latency, and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, NATS) for real-time data processing at scale
- Deep technical expertise in Python, TypeScript or similar interpreted languages at scale, with strong skills in distributed systems, system architecture, clean coding practices, and building maintainable, testable solutions
- Proven track record leading complex technical projects, making high-impact architectural decisions, and delivering scalable solutions in fast paced environments
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, mentoring engineers at all levels, driving cross-team alignment, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Clear, effective communicator able to influence decisions, align stakeholders, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights

- At Parloa, our Product Suite & Integrations teams are dedicated to creating innovative, robust, and seamless solutions that empower customers and partners to get the most out of our Conversational AI platform.
- As a Staff Engineer in this domain, you’ll take a leading role in shaping the architecture and integration strategies that underpin our entire product ecosystem
- You will be responsible for the technical vision, design, and delivery of features and integrations that connect Parloa’s core platform with a diverse range of external systems, channels, and partner products.
- Your work will directly impact the scalability, reliability, and user experience of mission-critical customer solutions worldwide
- Define and drive the technical vision for Product Suite & Integrations, setting a clear roadmap that aligns architecture, scalability, and reliability with Parloa’s long-term strategy
- Lead architectural excellence by making high-impact design decisions, resolving complex technical challenges, and establishing standards for security, performance, and maintainability across multiple teams
- Champion engineering quality and efficiency, optimizing workflows, improving system performance, and ensuring services meet or exceed defined SLOs
- Enable cross-functional success by collaborating with Product, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and partners to deliver robust, observable, and high-performing solutions
- Grow and inspire talent, mentoring engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement
