Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in complex, enterprise-level environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure
- Proficient in automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with FinOps practices and principles
- Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of financial systems and practices is a plus
What the job involves
- As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial operations through the effective implementation and management of DevOps practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines for financial systems within the public sector
- Drive the adoption of best practices in continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure to support financial applications
- Ensure the scalability, security, and availability of infrastructure components
- Work closely with development, operations, and finance teams to bridge gaps and streamline processes
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing technical insights and recommendations
- Develop and maintain automated processes for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
- Identify opportunities for process automation to enhance overall efficiency
- Implement and enforce security best practices for infrastructure and applications
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial systems
