Role
Who you are
- You'll have experience in using automation tools and techniques to assure the quality of business-critical applications
- You'll have experience in automated API testing using tools like ReadyAPI, Postman, Katalan etc
- You'll be comfortable with Web UI test automation for business application testing, using tools such as Cypress.io
- You'll be experienced in the setup and use of test automation in continuous integration platforms
- Some coding experience is beneficial, ideally in JavaScript to resolve complex testing challenges where tools fall short
- You'll have experience with both functional and non-functional aspects of software testing, including performance, security and resilience
- You have an exceptional eye for detail
- You're a team player
What the job involves
- You will report to our Head of Engineering and as a technical tester, you will be responsible for establishing and advancing testing automation across our APIs and Web UI
- You will work closely with the product team to gain a deep knowledge of requirements to support UAT testing
- You will design, build and execute non-functional automated tests (e.g. security, performance, load etc.)
- You will need to work with API specifications (OpenAPI, Swagger etc.)
- You will be responsible for managing test automation lifecycle
