Who you are
- This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- B2B Sales Experience: Minimum 1 year of solid B2B sales experience with a proven track record of achieving commercial results
- New Business Development: A genuine hunter mentality with experience identifying, prospecting and converting new business opportunities
- Industry Experience: Experience within SaaS, online marketplaces, payments or another technology-led commercial environment is highly desirable
- Relationship Building: A natural relationship builder who can engage confidently with decision-makers and develop strong commercial relationships
- Commercial Mindset: Motivated by targets and results, with the drive and resilience to consistently deliver against ambitious goals
- Organisation: Strong ability to multitask, prioritise opportunities and manage your time effectively across a busy sales pipeline
- Curiosity: Naturally curious, with a genuine desire to learn, develop and continuously improve your sales approach

What the job involves
- Reporting to the Business Development Team Leads, you’ll be 100% focused on bringing new business to Fresha, identifying high-potential prospects and converting them into long-term Partners
- You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach through to product demonstrations, negotiation and close
- Working closely with the wider Commercial team, you’ll help salons, spas, clinics and other beauty and wellness businesses understand how Fresha can help them grow and run their businesses more effectively
- You’ll work autonomously, enjoy the challenge of winning new business and have a direct impact on Fresha’s continued growth
- Sales Performance: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, taking ownership of your pipeline and commercial performance
- New Business Development: Identify and engage prospective Partners through outbound calling, email, social channels and, where appropriate, in-person meetings
- Prospecting & Outreach: Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities, engaging key decision-makers and converting prospects into qualified opportunities
- Full Sales Cycle: Own the sales process from initial prospecting through to product demonstration, negotiation and close
- Product Selling: Present, promote and sell Fresha’s products and services through compelling, tailored product demonstrations
- Consultative Selling: Conduct needs and cost-benefit analysis with prospective Partners to understand their businesses and align Fresha’s solutions to their objectives
- Inbound Lead Management: Respond to 100% of qualified inbound leads in a timely manner, progressing opportunities effectively and maintaining accurate records in the CRM
- Partner Experience: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and seamless experience for new Partners throughout the sales journey
- Market Insight: Stay close to industry trends and provide feedback and insights that can help shape Fresha’s commercial strategy and approach
- Commercial Partnership: Act as a key commercial point of contact for prospective Partners, building trust and demonstrating the value of Fresha’s platform

Fresha allows consumers to discover, book and pay for beauty and wellness appointments with local businesses via its centralised marketplace, while beauty and wellness businesses and professionals use its all-in-one platform to manage their entire operations through a range of intuitive software and fintech solutions.
The company has taken a different approach compared to rivals in the salon management space. Rather than charging monthly, its software is free to use, and charges only when a booking is made through the system. Fresha's platform also offers a range of financial products such as point-of-sale, customer records management and marketing automation, making it an appealing option for salon operators. This has allowed the company to swiftly build a network of merchants for its marketplace and collate over 110,000 partner businesses processing over 1 billion appointments booked to date. The marketplace also creates revenue potential for partner companies through its online bookings, building integrations with social media brands like Instagram and Facebook.
Now that Fresha has solved the chicken-and-egg problem of starting a marketplace, it is using its market position to scale quickly. It now has 130,000 partner venues and is working in 120 countries. Between 2021 and 2023, it enjoyed 190% growth in its global bookings.
