Role
Who you are
- Qualified with ACA/ACCA or equivalent
- 3+ years PQE in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), management reporting and variance analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, other relevant software, such as PowerBI, and financial modelling and data analytics capabilities
What the job involves
- Manage and execute the financial aspects of strategic planning, annual operating plan/ budget, rolling 12-month financial forecasting, and 5 year plan
- Consolidate and summarize reports on performance against business metrics and translate data into actionable insights to Executive Leadership Team and functional areas
- Influence business decisions with high-impact analyses on gross profit and operating expenses to ensure adherence to targets and identification of trends and opportunities for improvement
- Through data led analysis, provide insight to optimize long-term revenue growth and support related strategic initiatives (both ad hoc analytics and on-going reporting/ infrastructure)
- Influence business decisions through high-impact insights and recommendations for strategic planning
- Provide subject matter expertise and partner with internal clients, teams, and leaders as needed
- Business case preparation on investments and follow up analysis of variances from expectations
- Support the assessment of ROI and P&L impact of opportunistic market entries, acquisitions, workforce growth, strategic partnerships
- Integrate the company's financial budgets and forecasts into the long-term financial models
- Review input parameters within the company's long-term financial models to ensure consistency with financial budgets and forecasts

The problem with plastic is a persistent one. Mura Technology aims to solve the issue it poses with pioneering plastic recycling technology, turning plastic waste from a nuisance into a valuable commodity.
There have been a number of high-profile attempts to solve the plastic problem – such as the Ocean Cleanup Project, campaigns against microbeads, and shifts towards biodegradable packaging – but the prevailing problem persists, that plastic is very hard to actually get rid of. Mura’s pioneering technology would create a sustainable plastics economy by recycling waste stores into ingredients for new products. It is a scalable solution, which works on all plastics, and, as it would reduce material costs, it is a favourable option for the manufacturing industry. In addition, using plastic waste as feedstock for new products would reduce the need for new plastics to be made, decreasing the global demand for fossil fuels.
Mura Technology has partnered with some of the largest players in the petrochemical industry, such as the Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, to achieve the scale that it desires, and has garnered significant interest and investment. If it can continue innovating and getting its technology into the industry, it could well see massive success in the coming years.
