Who you are
- MBA from a top-tier business school
- 2-3 years of post-MBA experience at a top-tier management consulting firm
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with measurable outcomes
- Experience working directly with C-level executives or senior leadership teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Track record of building processes and systems that scale with organizational growth

- Previous Chief of Staff or similar strategic operations experience

What the job involves
- As Chief of Staff to CEO Taylor Matthews, you'll serve as a strategic partner ensuring seamless execution of Farther's ambitious growth plans
- This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and leadership, requiring someone who can think strategically while driving tactical excellence across the organization
- You'll work directly with Taylor, who leads Farther's executive team as the CEO and Founder. In this role, you'll translate vision into action, manage cross-functional initiatives, and serve as a strategic partner on critical business decisions
- This is a unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of a fast-growing fintech company while working alongside industry veterans and innovative thinkers as we scale toward our next phase of growth
- Partner with the CEO to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive company growth and operational excellence
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment across departments and timely execution
- Serve as the CEO's representative in meetings, calls, and strategic discussions when needed
- Prepare executive briefings, board materials, and strategic presentations for leadership team and investors
- Drive organizational effectiveness by identifying process improvements and implementing scalable solutions
- Facilitate communication between the CEO and leadership team, ensuring clarity and alignment on priorities
- Manage special projects including M&A activities, partnership negotiations, and strategic planning cycles
- Analyze business metrics and market trends to inform strategic decision-making
Our take
The Wealth Management market consists of two different segments, Financial Advisory and Digital Investment. Farther is looking to take clients' wealth “farther” by delivering both in its integrated service, alongside offering advisors the tools to earn and accelerate the growth of their books.
Through the platform, users can visualise and control every step of their financial transition, as well as access an advisor with the speciality that they need. Advisors in turn are able to use the same portal to streamline their service and reduce paperwork, so they can spend more time on customer interaction.
So far, Farther has shown impressive year-over-year growth and raised significant amounts of funding. The latest influx will be used to expand its advisor network and enhance its wealth management platform. The company has also announced its surpassed $5 billion in assets under management.
