- Recent graduate (within the past 2 years) with exceptional academic performance

What the job involves
- We're hiring for our Business Development Team designed to cultivate the next generation of business leaders at Scribe
- This 12-month rotational program offers high-potential recent graduates (last 2 years) the opportunity to gain GTM experience working with customers and scaling a rapidly growing startup based out of San Francisco:
- While the primary focus is on sales development, some of the functions you will be contributing to:
- Account Management
- Customer Success & Onboarding
- Growth and Top of Funnel Operations
- Throughout the program, associates will:
- Complete multiple rotations across sales and customer success
- Own high-impact projects that directly influence Scribe's growth
- Receive mentorship from senior leaders across the organization
- Build a comprehensive understanding of Scribes product, business, and customers
- Upon completion of this program, the common promotion path will likely be into one of the following areas:
- New Business Sales (Account Executive)
- Customer Success
- Sales Operations
- Your journey begins in Sales Development, where you'll be the primary point of contact for SMB inbound inquiries while qualifying Enterprise opportunities. Core responsibilities include:
- Providing an exceptional customer experience as the first face of Scribe
- Explore the use of AI tooling that can improve the customer experience
- Generating Enterprise pipeline and qualified opportunities for Account Executives
- Bringing in paying customers and closing revenue
- Contributing to the optimization of our inbound funnel and sales processes
- Join us in building a world-class go-to-market organization at Scribe. As part of our inaugural rotation program, you'll have unprecedented exposure to multiple aspects of our business
- We have a massive volume of inbound interest that needs to be effectively managed and converted. Our team is rapidly expanding and testing new motions - there's a huge opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, experiment, and build new playbooks across different business functions
Our take
Knowledge workers spend, by some reports, around one fifth of their time simply working out how to do their job. Where historically this might have demanded lengthy, labor-intensive user guides and training manuals, Scribe has brought to market an efficient new alternative, where all users need to do is record their screen whilst carrying out a task.
From there, the company creates text descriptions and interactive screenshots for each step, which can be shared with a simple link. Scribe has accrued an impressive customer base since it launched in beta back in 2020, with over 1,000 teams including Adobe, Facebook, Tesla, and EA using its product. Demand looks likely to continue, with hybrid workforces still widespread post-pandemic.
Founder Jennifer Smith is versed in the inefficiencies of knowledge-sharing within companies from a stint at Mckinsey, and her co-founder Aaron Podolny was previously CTO at automated customer service and sales tools company, Onward. With strong funding secured, Scribe’s impressive success to date looks only set to continue as it scales its team and invests in R&D to propel the development of its platform.
