Who you are
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a deep understanding of modern web application architecture
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving, coding, and debugging skills, with a history of delivering scalable and maintainable systems
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred), Kubernetes, and distributed systems
- Ability to effectively manage engineering processes, measure team success, and continuously improve performance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders

What the job involves
- As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers while staying close to the technical work
- This role requires a balance of people management and hands-on technical leadership, ensuring the team builds high-quality, scalable solutions while maintaining a strong engineering culture
- You’ll mentor engineers, contribute to technical decisions, provide architectural guidance, and ensure the successful delivery of critical projects
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Stay involved in technical decision-making, providing architectural guidance, reviewing code, and helping to solve complex engineering challenges
- Work alongside engineers to refine system design, troubleshoot issues, and ensure scalability and maintainability
- Own team delivery, ensuring projects meet deadlines while upholding high technical and operational standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business stakeholders to align engineering efforts with company goals
- Drive engineering excellence by maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and system reliability
- Manage and improve engineering metrics such as velocity, delivery commitments, system performance, and deployment success
- Hire and retain top engineering talent, continuously developing the team’s skills and capabilities
- Support and advocate for engineers, helping to remove blockers and create an environment where they can do their best work

Its AI Agents use natural language and deep integrations (EHR, payer portals, etc.) to handle workflows that traditionally require a lot of back-and-forth between staff and patients. For example, its authorization solution can automatically check whether prior authorizations are needed, submit requests, and update the EHR - cutting out much of the manual legwork.
