Who you are
- We’re looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Enterprise Customer Success Manager who will be responsible for ensuring our customers thrive with Overjet’s software platform
- 5+ years of experience in customer success in SAAS or similar product, including previous experience with renewals
- 2+ years of experience in Management Consulting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and hustle to achieve results in a high-growth startup environment
- Experience in insurance, dental/healthcare, startups, or B2B software is a plus but not required
What the job involves
- This role will be our first hire solely focused on our customers in the UK, and will need to possess a strong project management skillset. Attention to detail, velocity, and customer obsession are all non-negotiables
- Managing Enterprise accounts, primarily working with dental office leadership and central office leadership
- Execute the customer success strategy, focusing on high touch points and relationship building with dental offices
- Own the full customer lifecycle from onboarding through ongoing engagement, retention, and expansion
- Achieve individual metrics and KPIs designed to utilize a data-based approach within the Customer Success Team
- Assist in improving processes around account setup, implementation, training, and ongoing account review and modification to minimize churn and support account expansion
- Develop and execute account expansion initiatives, including targeted campaigns for low-usage accounts and strategic upsell conversations
- Conduct frequent reviews (in-person and via phone) with accounts and team to determine customer satisfaction and utilization levels
- Employ the total office concept, ensuring every member of the dental office staff is engaged
- Proactively upsell new modules and product enhancements, ensuring customers are fully leveraging the Overjet platform to achieve their goals
- Build strong executive relationships to influence renewals, negotiate contracts, and align on long-term strategic value
Our take
Overjet is a medical AI company that uses machine learning to analyze dental radiographs and uncover potential causes for concern in patients' oral health. Using data that quantify bone loss, tooth decay, and gum disease symptoms, the visually driven results help dentists and patients visualize their oral health status.
Whilst helping patients with their oral health is a lucrative business, dental insurance is in a whole different realm. In 2021, the dental insurance industry crossed the $80 billion threshold, and dental AI companies like Overjet have a large stake in this surge. Their AI tool, built and developed by Harvard dentistry graduates in 2018, is utilized by leading dental insurance companies in the US to help better value the type of insurance that their customers are eligible for.
This goes some way to explain how Overjet received Series A and B funding within just 4 months of each other in 2021. The dental industry may have been slow to embrace AI technology for practical healthcare purposes before Overjet and similar companies like Adra emerged, but the same products were quickly capitalized on by health insurance providers in the US. This double incentive for investors is a promising step forward for Overjet, which continues to forge partnerships with city and state-leading dental organizations and achieved impressive Series C funding in 2024.
