Role
Who you are
- You are an experienced Product Manager and ideally have worked in a B2B SaaS startup or scale up for the past years, feeling most comfortable working in this environment and in cross functional teams
- You are used to working with agile methods, particularly Scrum, to drive efficient product development
- You are obsessed with customers, always prioritizing their needs and satisfaction of our users to improve our platform
- You leverage your strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work in cross-functional teams
- You define your own tasks, handle them and the stakeholders simultaneously with ease thanks to your strong project and stakeholder management skills
- German language skills are not mandatory but highly appreciated
- And if you happen to have experience in Compliance, GDPR and/or Information Security, especially with ISO 27001, that would also be a big plus
What the job involves
- You’re part of our newest Product Squad in Berlin which will focus on our latest research project to push the automation and intelligence of our Kertos Platform even further
- As the Product Manager of this brand-new Squad, you will be both: customer champion and team enabler
- Together with your team, you are driving forward our mission to become Europe’s leading B2B solution for compliance automation
- Talk to clients, users, and legal experts to identify and prioritize product features to meet their needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams for actionable plans.
- Play a pivotal role in the product development process, from ideation to delivery, by introducing and driving innovative ideas
- Own the roadmap and keep it updated, using tools like Productboard or innovative methods to communicate evolving product strategy to the team and stakeholders
- Create user stories with detailed product functionality descriptions to facilitate effective communication with the development team and stakeholders
- Support the development team for a smooth sprint cycle, providing clarification on product-related matters and fostering a collaborative environment
Our take
As businesses become more data driven, privacy concerns mean that regulations on the proper handling of that data have also increased. The volume of data flowing through most modern companies is extremely hard to manage manually while remaining compliant to laws such the GDPR, which can leave companies liable to fines of up to 20 million Euros per breach. This puts businesses in a position where they have to spend their resources on data compliance instead of their core product.
Kertos exists to fix this with a platform that is able to automatically manage data privacy in a compliant way across an entire business. Able to integrate with most major data silos, databases and SaaS applications, it is capable of yielding up to 80% savings on resources compared to manual privacy operations. This has grown it a customer base including the likes of Gorillas, McMakler and Wellster HealthTech.
In 2023, Kertos raised funds, which is being used to scale the company's operations and invest in product development. Going forward, Kertos will also aim to enter into strategic partnerships to grow its marketing reach and expand its customer base. With an innovative, first-in-class product and significant investor backing, Kertos is well poised to grow into a significant business in the privacy automation space.
