Role
Who you are
- The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a start-up tech environment
- 5+ years of experience in quota-carrying Sales roles selling B2B SaaS solutions or CSR/HR tech to enterprise clients
- 3+ years experience in outbound client prospecting with a true hunter mentality and exceptional closing skills
- Direct experience working in high-growth, performance-focused sales environments and a track record of over-achieving quota in past roles
- Strong value-based consultative selling experience. Ability to build account plans to understand key decision makers, product utilization potential, and new revenue opportunities
- Manage and develop strategic account plans, structure complex deals, manage multiple partnerships, and handle intricate negotiations and objections
- Ability to identify, sell, pitch, and influence C-level customers, board of directors, EVPs, and end-users in individual and team environments
- Solid understanding of Salesforce, Gong, or other relevant programs. Ability to accurately forecast opportunities, bringing sales opportunities from pipeline to close
- Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment and adaptability to change

What the job involves
- Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Account Executive to join our remote team
- The Account Executive will help drive company sales and will work as a trusted partner with our enterprise clients
- The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and growing customer relationships with enterprise-level clients
- You will focus on existing customers’ needs for contract expansion and renewals—including qualifying, pitch presentations, tailored platform demonstrations, the value proposition of the Visit.org offering, RFP responses, objection handling, complex contract negotiations, and deal closing—with multiple constituents of Fortune 500 companies in multiple industry verticals
- You will hold in-person strategic quarterly and annual business reviews to drive renewals, expansions, growth, and client retention opportunities
- You will and attend roundtable discussions, conferences and hold periodic site visits to drive expert conversations with Corporate Partners about their goals
- You will serve as the main point of contact between the Visit.org and Corporate Partner prospects and existing contacts, ensuring high levels of touchpoint throughout the Sales and account renewal and expansion process
- You will represent the voice of the customer to internal teams to provide input into every core product, marketing, and sales for further process and platform enhancements
Our take
Visit.org was one of a number of companies smartly turning the Covid Pandemic upheaval to their advantage. They originally hosted a marketplace of socially impactful travel experiences, but when travel restrictions and transmission earnings kicked in, they pivoted sharply. Now, they help companies meet corporate social responsibility (CSR) pressure by providing a curated package of remote, socially impactful activities.
It’s a smart move. CSR pressure is growing as investor expectations regarding social impact are rising. Moreover, it will help companies boost their appeal to Millennials, who are anticipated to constitute three quarters of the workforce by 2025 - a majority of whom say they won’t accept jobs from companies with poor CSR policies. These standards look set only to rise as Gen-Z enters the job market.
Visit.org’s offering, which additionally helps companies tailor their remote social impact packages by providing employee-preference analytics, is proving both an affordable and reputationally lucrative solution. A large raft of corporate customers including Dolby, Twitch, and IBM will help cement their position going forward.
