Role
Who you are
- You have [6+] years experience working in Product Management roles - ideally with [3+] years in Fintech specifically. Experience in B2B SaaS or Investments and Wealth management is a big plus
- Understanding of and a focus on B2B clients’ and their users’ needs and how to delight them with beautiful, intuitive investing experiences. You have a clear bias for impact and speed in product discovery and delivery
- Be a sponge! We don’t need you to be an investing expert, but you will need to be able to absorb knowledge on complex topics quickly and combine with your expertise on product management best practices
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex concepts into easily consumable ideas, clear project phases and tangible, (client-) value generating product increments
- Experience with common product manager’s toolkits - such as product discovery and documentation software (e.g., Linear, Slite, Miro, Figma etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
What the job involves
- As Upvest enters the next stage of growth, we are looking for an exceptional Lead Product Manager - Investment Solutions. You will work directly with Mislav Ilich, Christian Wöhlke and Pim Hannay owning topics critical to Upvest’s success:
- Your ownership and development of key investing products such as Portfolios and Savings plans will empower millions of users to achieve their financial goals, be that preparing for retirement, saving for their first home, or investing in their children’s future
- You’ll innovate in a traditional industry, democratising wealth management by building the investing infrastructure of tomorrow
- You’ll build experiences that span the markets we operate in by powering the localised needs of our clients and end-users
- You’ll expand the definition of wealth management to include new asset classes and ground-breaking partnerships with key asset managers
- Autonomy coupled with inspirational leadership: When we say empowered teams we mean it. In this role you will fully own product success with your team - with your manager and senior leadership ready to support you at all times

Our take
Upvest is a fintech startup that empowers financial services companies to provide their customers with access to a full range of financial assets, including stocks, ETFs and crypto products. Upvest's investment API integrates seamlessly with its customers existing systems and is designed to scale easily, freeing companies from the need to develop their own brokerage and custody infrastructure from scratch.
As one of the few companies in Germany that is licensed for both the custody of traditional securities and crypto, Upvest is able to provide its services across Europe. Its solution has been readily adopted by some major players in the space including Ginmon, Vivid and ABN AMRO.
Upvest is backed by a number of Europe's largest tech VCs, alongside American investment monolith BlackRock. In 2023, it closed a VC investment round that one of the largest in the German fintech arena. It has gone on to secure further funding which supports ventures such as absorbing the complexity of new local tax wrappers, rolling out AI-supported investment engines, and speeding up the rate at which clients can bring pension products to market .
