As well as providing people with cash to travel, Travelex is a key supplier of wholesale banknotes to global financial institutions, central banks, credit unions, travel agencies, hotels and casinos. The company's many strategic partnerships and developments have made it a powerhouse in the sector.
For example, with Nium it launched “Travelex International Money Transfer”, connecting users in Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore with over 50 markets across the world. And its partnership with Kayak helps customers plan trips within its overhauled Money Card app.
Travelex has been developing solutions that support their B2B2C aspirations and working with retail distributions to give customers the opportunity to self-serve more at the airport or pre-trip. It also launched "Travelex Plus", a loyalty programme which has had over 150,000 members sign up in less than a year.
