Sales Engineer, Zitadel

• Experience in backend development using Go (Golang) or other relevant programming languages
• Work experience in startups or scale-ups. Additional experience in larger companies is a plus
• Understanding of security best practices for web applications and backend systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Clearly communicate with our community, prospects, and customers
• Passion for cyber security or identity management
• Passion for contributing to open-source projects and willingness to share knowledge

• Sales Engineer: Focus on supporting sales in new client acquisition and onboarding of new customers. You will regularly rotate into the engineering team to participate in product development
• Support sales with technical expertise selling into prospect engineering teams
• Partner with sales with activities such as technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentation, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria; working across a number of opportunities in parallel
• Advise prospects and customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies for making the best use of ZITADEL
• Creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to customers
• Conducting and lead technical remote workshops with leads and existing customers
• Support client-facing staff such as support and community managers as technical expert
• Translating technical concepts and patterns into business benefits and articulating the business value of our products and services
• Collecting feedback to relay back to the product and engineering team
• Collaborate across engineering, marketing, and sales teams, including creating blueprints and other technical education materials
• Proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other pre-sales team members and share standard methodologies
