Platform Engineer, Anaplan

• Experience with Kubernetes in a production or pre-production environment
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools, ideally Terraform
• Public cloud experience with either AWS or GCP
• Strong interest in software engineering, with some experience in Go or another language
• A focus on quality through testing and documentation

Desirable

• We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join Anaplan’s Environment Tooling team in London
• Our team is responsible for building and operating platform infrastructure that enable engineers to deliver services with speed, safety, and reliability
• You will be responsible for ephemeral environment management, service deployment, secrets and configuration management
• We write Kubernetes Operators in Go, manage service deployments with Argo CD and Harness, and oversee secrets management using Vault
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team to build and operate tools, frameworks, and platforms that support hundreds of engineers across Anaplan
• Contribute to the design and implementation of systems that improve developer experience, platform scalability, and security
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and in-cluster services
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure and developer tooling with support from senior engineers
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and roadmap discussions
