Broadway Technology isn't a new player in the FinTech space, having been operating since 2003, but it hasn't wasted its early-mover advantage. Now widely onsidered a best-in-class provider of front-office fintech software, it has grown alongside the rise in volume of electronic trading in fixed-income asset classes. It now counts more than half the world's top 50 banks as customers and has offices worldwide.
Broadway offers a wide range of products for financial institutions and hedge funds, but is best known for its core Toc Platform, which powers advanced trading systems. While the pace of digitization and automation in the financial situation has accelerated and the competition in this sector has picked up, Broadway's experience and philosophy of constant improvement in optimizing trading workflows stands it in good stead.
In early 2023, Broadway was acquired by Bloomberg. This influx of capital will be used to further develop Broadway's platform and range of product offerings, and will offer Broadway opportunites across Bloomberg's vast network of clients and partner companies. This will allow Broadway to further consolidate its leading position in the market.
