Extensive experience building complex data and financial models
Ability to work quickly to support operational decisions while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Experience with Sales tools like Gong, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Navigator for data enrichment
Experience with Anaplan, Pigment or similar planning tool
Demonstrated experience using data to drive changes to GTM strategy in a tactical way
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills

What the job involves

As the Senior Sales Strategy and GTM Operations Manager, you will partner closely with senior management and operational teams across the marketing and sales funnel to maximize revenue growth and optimize the customer journey
This position is a functional manager and does not have a supervisory duty
This role will be the voice of performance management for the Sales organization, with a focus on driving strategy and process improvements through insights and data-driven recommendations
Develop and implement a Global Sales Strategy with GTM team leaders
Develop business and execution plans
Identify and recommend sales KPIs
Territory, quota and compensation planning, in partnership with finance teams
Build, maintain and analyze periodic reports and dashboards to effectively monitor pipeline health and sales performance
Create quarterly and annual business insights and trend analysis to measure and influence all aspects of business performance and sales strategy, including, but not limited to:
Role design
Capacity planning
Territory performance and tiering strategies
Sales lifecycle structure
Early risk and opportunity identification
Develop and own models to support annual planning processes
Drive a continuous performance and capacity management review process
Drive adoption and adherence to CRM hygiene
Perform ad hoc analysis and reports for Board meetings, external reporting, etc
Identify gaps and opportunities in sales performance and influence Sales Enablement roadmap
Act as key stakeholder/chair in metrics governance processes and councils

Planet operates the largest Earth-imaging satellite network available, putting it ahead of any competitors. A partnership with Accenture comes with the goal of developing AI-powered geospatial intelligence tools to support sustainability projects; and the company's acquisition of Salo Sciences will allow it to develop offerings around enabling customers to quantify carbon stocks, monitor forest change, and mitigate climate risks.
